Anyone using Giambi? Where are you hiding him in your lineups? After 50 games he is batting 188 in Cell.

BTW, Zimmerman, LaRoche and Delmon Young look like winners this year.

I use Giambi a lot.

Low batting average (typically .220s or below) but OBP around .350 and slugging around .480...still disappointing, but not as bad as .220 BA leads you to believe.

Sorry I didn't revisit the thread sooner.

I try him fairly high...2nd usually. Basically, I develop an order with highest OBP down to lowest. Sometimes I chicken out a bit and shift a spot, but usually not. I'd rather have a .400 OBP leading off and getting as many bats as possible than a .330 OBP Taveras leading off because he is a AA stealer.

here is my team with giambi at cell. I had him leadoff 4 half the season and then moved him to 4th in front of lee. he did better in the clean up role than leadoff 4 me. hope this is useful...
