(AP) In a stunning move, NorthPole president Kaviksdad fired his manager, general manager and entire scouting staff, by email, early Friday morning.

"It's been a consistant express train to h*ll with this bunch," fumed the frustrated NorthPole boss. "We need to get some people in here who can evaluate talent. This constant losing has to stop now!"

Since their inception, the NorthPole club has been on a rebuilding program that has not produced winning results on the ballfield. Among the picks that have underperformed for the team are starting pitcher Chien-Ming Wang, outfielder Ichiro Suzuki and utility man Ryan Freel.

The NorthPole team has struggled mightily this season, and current is in the basement of the East division, with a record of 19 - 35, 12 games behind the leader South Bend Silverhawks.
