Whoo. My first championship :)

Didn't think I would win it. Was just having fun with this team, trying to get as high a batting average as possible. I got pretty lucky because the team with the best record in the league depended on left-handed pitching...

Imagine that,

C2 already with a ring.....That is a shocker

Congrats to you all,

I am no where near even getting a team to the playoffs much less winning a ring.

Learning curve is gonna take a little longer this year.....(and money :x )

Congrats to all. I've got 2 teams in playoffs, both 1-1 after opening night. Keeping fingers crossed on bringing home 2 crowns in one week...hope HAL isn't reading this, cuz I probably just jinxed myself

Bluethree,

How in the world did you win with that team?

I am not saying it wasn't a great team (93 wins), but your team is exclusively lefty orientated....Why didn't everyone just throw Hard Righties at you....at least that is what I would have done.

Just goes to show you, that "the Norm" isn't always the right way!!!!!

My first 07 team finished 80-82. As luck would have it I tied for first in my division, but won the tiebreaker. As fate would have it.. I won the first round of the playoffs. In the finals, I am up 3 games to 2,, in game 6 I am up 3 to 2 in the ninth inning with my closer JJ Putz. 2 man on 2 outs... what happens.... he gives up a dinger to Beltran. I lose game 6 and then game 7.

The moral of the story..... what the heck was a doing one out away from the championship. Should blessed to be there... but I am pissed cause I should have won.
