BOBs 1969 2BY2 COMBO LEAGUE

I would like to confirm that each manager who initially signed up will still
be interested:

1) 2 (1/2 Teams Hitting and Pitching)

2) $100M Cap

3) DH

4) Draft by Lotto ( High to Low) Serpentine unless some member has
access to a randomizer.

5) Roster can be a many as rules allow that fit within the cap.

6) CHANGE - Farm system may be used but no trading of FREE AGENTS

7) Trades will be allowed.

8) Ballparks will be from either of the first hitting or first pitching team
selected.

9) Provide your NAME if participating and your STATE.

10) League will be set as advanced and a Frenzy to avoid time delay.

11) Goal will be to start next Monday. I would prefer a draft that goes fast
and efficient. Lets discuss if we can do something other than the 3 hour
window where you can pick in 2 minutes or 3 hours.

Sorry guys, I'm out if there's a farm system. I think it's a great idea, but with no formal, public tracking system, it's just too much of a screw-up waiting to happen, IMO.

Keyzick - Maybe I worded it wrong but I believe the intent meets what your looking for.

If you have an active roster and only trades can be made with players on the active roster there isn't a need to track players in the farm system.

Players who are in the Free Agent Pool can only be brought up to the parent club. Am I missing something because my intent is not to track free agents.

I think what Bob is planning is if you drop a player you acquired from another team, his rights revert back. Similar to the MLB 'rule 5'.

I'm not sure if the Rule 5 comparison is accurate or not. What I'm trying to say is that if a player isn't on any active roster then he is not able to be used by anyone.

There is a $100M cap and allowing trades with max roster space so I feel there is nothing in the FA pool that will be missed and therefore we shouldn't need to track these scabs. It should allow for trading for these type of players also.
