Worst start to the Season???

I was in a Tour league where Riggodrill lost I think 20 in a row and still won his division. I guess you have to hope your monster streak is at the beginning.

Back in 2002, I had a team that started 1-18, and ended up 87-75, but fell short of the playoffs, with two 94+ win teams in my division.

An ATG I team Started 15-42... and went 60-45 the rest of the way with NO roster moves.

Hey Bodie, if it's any consolation, my first '07 Tour team was 4-17 after the first week. Pease forgive me if I feel a little bit better knowing that it's actually possible to have a worse start than mine!

But now I'm on a roll, 6-18 after going 2-1 last night, and already I'm only 13 games back! I figure I've just been setting myself up for one of the alltime great comebacks!

The really good news is, we can drop our scores for this round if things don't improve. I might add that I made it to the Tour finals two years ago (missed the Finals playoffs by a game), and came close last year...so anything is possible, hope springs eternal! :D

Now standing at 4-23......when will it end.

I still haven't won a series yet.

I can't show the team due to the fact it is a Tour team, but let's just say....I have fired 3 Starting pitchers and a couple of fielders.

Not only did I get swept last night, 2 shut outs and a 1 run game.......I couldn't have made that big of a mistake drafting and putting my team together.....could I?????

14 games out of 1st only 27 games in....now it is almost a joke to see how bad it is gonna get

Anyone know what the record is for fastest to 100 losses with a team that is actually trying. (I've seen some newbies tank pretty fast when they fall into the drop/add syndrome)

At least you could try for that.

But not to worry - it all evens out right. My tour team started 16-2 over the first 18 games, and in the last 9 have barely managed to squeeze out 2 wins (batting below the mendoza line for the last 9 games - woo hoo!)

Fallen from first in runs scored to 8th in that same 9 game period scoring just over 2 runs a game.

Remember it's not how you start - it's how you finish.

Very true,

See San Diego Chargers.....14-2.....out in 1st round......Fire Coach

In my case, I can't really fire myself....even though I have banged my head on the wall enough with this team to constitute torture and a concussion.

This team started 2-19 (ATG II) and at the end of 2 weeks the record was 8-34 and limped home at 46-116  :( :x . SGT D
