Which number (2-12; 3-11, etc.) has nothing to do with how many games a player can miss, but rather with how likely it is that he will get injured. To see how many games a player will miss, look at his AB + BB. If he has less than 600, he can go down for up to 15 games at a time. If he has 600-679, he can only go down for up to 3 games at a time. If he has 680 or more, he can only be injured during that game. The actual number of games a player will miss is determined by the split cards and a chart. Sometimes the player is only injured for the game, sometimes for longer. Hope this helps.
