Braves Senators will definitely be the favorite. Cal Giants pitching will be incredible and Fregosi will make a nice improvement over Lanier.

I think the Baltimore ??? or the ??? Orioles will be a favorite too.

I will be taking NYY, Seattle or KC. I am evaluating them now. Will post soon.

I will be out most of the day.... might not be able to check in until tomorrow. Fill free to add my AL team whenever it is left.

I was hoping that Washington would drop..... guess not :(

My guess is that when Assmeritan gets around to it  and picks LA Dodgers that will be an early favorite for me.

Dodgers pitching with Reggie, Bando, Monday and then add W. Parker, Davis, and Mota.

that aint that bad!

Of course he could also go with Philly, and get Allen to pair with Reggie for a great duo. With Solid pitching as well.

1. socalchiro (aka. visick) - Baltimore Orioles
2. Splinter- Minnesota Twins
3. Doc Tax - Cincinatti
4. JAMIE399 - Pittsburgh
5. memphisjohn - Cubs
6. Hooner11 - Detroit Tigers
7. LMBombers- NY Mets
8. Risden - SF Giants
9. Assmeriten - Boston Red Sox
10. Genegrid- Oakland
11. Pelzer - St. Louis
12. Wolfblitz - Washington
13. Wolfblitz - Atlanta (Atlanta Senators or Atlanta stadium)
14. Pelzer - White Sox (Chicago Cards in Comiskey)
15. Genegrid- Houston (Oakland Astros in Oakland)
16. Assmeriten -
17. Risden - Angels (Anaheim or California Giants)
18. LMBombers - Yankees New York Yankees (Shea Stadium)
19. Hooner11 -
20. memphisjohn -
21. JAMIE399 -
22. Doc Tax -
23. Splinter -
24. socalchiro -

That was a tough decision for me. Not much talent left on the AL squads. Memphisjohn and Assmeriten are "on the clock" so to speak.

I thought about picking the Yankees. Not so much for their talent, but for Yankee Stadium where McCovey might hit 70 dingers.

Plus, I think the whole Peterson/Kekich wife-swapping thing would make the airplane rides a little more interesting.

That WAS worth saying twice by the way!

McCovey would walk into a Giant/Yankee locker room and immediately smash Pepitone's hair dryer and show him to the far end of the bench.

Risden:

Believe it or not, a good choice for you would have been the Royals.

I just finished Moose's 2 Tean Theme League with those 2 teams. I lost in the finals...

The Royals fill in with some decent arms. Drabowsky was a stud, as was Bunker. Drago was hot till the last 2 weeks.
