This oughta be fun! We may have to spot Frank M.'s team 2-3 runs per game.

I know you said no trading players, but how about trading teams?

Well at least (for the time being) I have 3 1's on the infield except SS

2 good catchers....but the outfield is a disaster waiting to happen....

Nice choice Randy on parks....that one hurts me a bit.

The highest salaried player not going to be used on my team is Billy Wagner at 4.11. I can't really count him because I am going with Putz as my closer at 5.56. The next highest salary not used will be Prince Fielder at 3.42.

I like 80M just fine. 8) It could be the only thing that saves me. The best I can do on my rotation is two 4M guys, a 2M and two 1M guys. Ouch Babe. The strength of my team is RP which is a good thing because they will be needed early and often.

The best defense at 2B available to me is a 3. I could go with Graffanino at 3e8 but I think I'm going to say to heck with it and play Bill Hall there at 3e30. Please don't hit it to 2B. I needed to find somewhere to play Hall and that is where he will end up I think.

I am predicting a 70-92 record at best for this team.

I'm perfectly fine with 80 mil also. Right now the only big player not making it for me is Swisher.

3b had to be my biggest sacrifice - went from the no hitting Chavez and his 1e6 to Atkins and his 4e20. The right side of my infield is OK w/ Helton and Carroll, but my right side is almost sieve like - with Atkins and Scutaro and his lovely 3e23 at ss.

And while I'm fairly happpy with my pitching - Only two lefties made my squad. Not so happy about that.

Just so you know how bad it will be for me,

Pitching:

Schilling
Burnett
Beckett
Wakefield
C. Janssen

Relief:

Ryan
Frasor
Tavares
Accardo
Tallet
Folke

1b Pujols
2b Hudson
SS Drew
3b Rolen
C Rodriguez
OF Granderson
OF Thames
OF Encarnacion
OF/DH Duncan/Byrnes

 8) 8) 8)

Backups--Miles, Molina, A. Green, Perez

Don't know exactly how it will end up, but that is where I stand for the moment.

Would love to see what others have done so far too.

Here's mine: (off the top of my head w/o pulling my team back down from the league)

SP:
Carpenter
Lowe
Haren
Zito - One of my two lousy lefties
Tomko

:o :o :o - better than I thought I'd be

RP:
Saito
Duchscherer
Huston
Dessens
Hancock
Beimel - My other lousy lefty

:? :? :? - Strong, but overall wish i had a few more lefties.

Hitting:
C - Kendall
1b - Helton
2b - Carroll
3b - Atkins
ss - Scutaro
lf - Holliday
cf - Kotsay
rf - Hawpe
dh - Big Hurt

:) :( :) :( :) :( - Decent bats, but WAY NOT the defense I like to run with. And it will be difficult to slug it out with some of the teams in my division.
