[The Biomechanical Man]

Play your favorite team league – rules
1. Pick your base team. You own the rights to all of the players on your base team.
2. You must use your base team’s stadium
3. You must use your base team’s name or something easily identifiable as that team (for example, if you pick the St. Louis Cardinals you can name your team the “World Champion Redbirds”).
4. After all 12 teams have been picked, there will be a one-round live draft. The order of the draft will be from lowest to highest base team payroll. You can draft any one available player from the 18 teams that weren’t picked.
5. The 12 managers will then be seeded in divisions, based upon their “preseason payroll.” Preseason payroll is the salary of your free agent added to your base team’s payroll. The four managers with the highest preseason payroll will be in the East, and the four managers with the lowest will be in the West.
6. Complete the autodraft using your free agent and players from your base team.*
7. No player besides those on the 12 base teams and the 12 free agents chosen in the live draft can ever be on any team.*
8. You may trade your free agent and/or players from your base team to another manager at any point in the preseason or season. You must formally do this as a trade transaction, not just as a message to the league saying players’ rights were traded.
9. If one of the 12 free agents is dropped, no one (including the manager who drafted him) can ever pick him up.
10. If you drop a player acquired from a trade who is really from another manager’s base team, you cannot pick him up.
11. You may drop or add players from your base team at any time in the preseason and regular season.

13. 10% penalty for free agent drop

* Long Addendum - You may add a $.50 free agent scrub or two if needed to complete your autodraft card. This scrub(s) must of course be dropped as soon as the autodraft is run.
