MVP - Roger Clemens

Offense was pretty solid but no one stood out & The Rockets numbers were very impressive.

CY Young - Jake Peavy

Went 9-2 with 2.84/1.07 stats on the road!

Rolaids Relief - Al Reyes

BS aside - 157 very solid IP allowed my spot relievers to stay fresh & work their specialities.

Surprise Performance - Randy Flores

Despite seeing more RH Bats than LH Bats in 33 IP, Flores had a sparkling 1.61/1.07 stat line

Disappointing Performance - Joe Mauer

Despite seeing getting 400 AB with 90% RHP Mauer only produced a meagre .268/.330/.369 Performance. :x

Playoff MVP - Jeff Francouer

3 HR & 6 RBI while batting .302/.318/.558

Playoff CY Young - Roger Clemens

Despite losing a critical Game III in the WS, Clemens outdueled Martinez in Games I & V of the Semis to get us to the World Series

Playoff Rolaids - Al Reyes

Very strong performance until the 9th Inning of Game VI.

Playoff Surprise - Pitching

I was expecting solid pitching, but a team effort of 2.32/1.03 was above and beyond the call of duty - too bad the bats on my were mesmerized by the strength of my pitching. :wink:

Playoff Goat - Michael Young / Randy Winn

A .195/.297/.268 effort is not why we suffered Youngs 3 range defense. :roll: & Winns bat, a solid producer during the regular season all but disappeared during the playoffs.
