I think the ratings are telling me that my RA is doing much better than it should be. Do these still assume a neutral park environment? I interpret the stats to say that I should have a high-powered offense that is performing to spec, but that my pitching/defense has been lucky so far....

With a team ERA of 4.77 & WHIP of 1.42 in a pitcher`s park, I think we can sustain those numbers the rest of the way. The 43 errors bother me, but I think some of them are offset by my team`s high SB numbers. If we take away 15 SBs I`d still lead the league in that stat, and if we take away 15 one-base errors my D would rank near the top, at least in terms of errors, not X% chances.

The offensive analysis I`d have to agree with - my team is doing exactly as I had hoped, with a high BA & OBP & a very marginal SLG. The flip side is that my pitching staff is giving up a lot of baserunners, but HRs in my park seem abnormally high, so I think the pitching could actually improve slightly if the home HRs allowed normalize a bit & the WHIP stays even. Time will tell...

Don't know anything to say other than it appears my ratings aren't good and my team isn't good either.

A couple of quick comments on the comments.

- The ballparks used is the composite for each team so it should be pretty accurate.
- I used actual RP usage.
- I used actual ratio of SP to RP IP.
- Silver, Yes, your pitching staff is over performing in a big way. I would expect them to tail off even in your park. If not then you'll continue to over perform your rating. Your offense OTOH is right on the money.
- Interesting to note that if you flipped Big A and Big M, the division by division ratings would be almost perfectly on.

All for now, I'll wait for others to chime in before I add more thoughts.

Thanks, joe. As always your work is greatly appreciated.

What can I say? Other than I wish Liriano had two or three more wins and Freel got caught much too often for his real life numbers, my team performs as expected. And that's the big surprise for me! :D

Well, even though the numbers suggest that I would do as well as I have so far, I can't help but think that I have relied on one man overperforming at a deity level.

For more insight, check out the Individual Statistic Leaders in almost every offensive category, but pay [i:05bc2583c2]special attention [/i:05bc2583c2]to [b:05bc2583c2]RUNSCREATED/27OUT[/b:05bc2583c2] and [b:05bc2583c2]TOTAL AVERAGE[/b:05bc2583c2].

I can't help but feel that Midnight is about to strike sometime soon.

That, or those "curbs" that I seem to remember were a hot topic a few seasons ago.

Almost had a sweep of Smokey's 1st place squad last night, losing Game 3 in 10 innings. On some nights this team looks absolutely good, but those nights are far apart.

Forgot to thank 'joe' for the numbers, was in frustration mode at the time.

Shrink,

Aw come on, Berkman can keep that up all season, he's only on pace for 82 HRs, 204 RBI, 145 runs and 244 hits! :) Just because his RC27 is twice the next guy doesn't mean he'll cool off. ;)

Course you also have a few guys who are under what you would expect for your park (A Rod, Sizemore, Johjima)

Jeep,

No worries, just glad to get a reaction out of you guys. :)

JTJ,

I have been slammed with work traveling incessantly to the upstate area of SC. I appreciate you rating as always and will comment on them when I have the time to make an informed opinion.

Preliminarily, it appears my division mates parks are hampering my collection of offensive talent. If not that ,then bad dice or i just don't know what else. I have got a lot of under performers so far.

Jeepie,

Almost got me for three last night.... :x
