Hector Carrasco

Hector Carrasco

Postby nymets99 » Thu Jun 07, 2007 4:26 pm

I have Hector Carrasco on 2 different teams and he is my second most expensive reliever on each team behind my closer. I have checked all the correct relief settings and this does not seem to be able to get him into games. On one team they have played 51 games and he has appeared in "ONE", 42 games ago. On my other team he hasnt gotten quite as moldy but he still has not pitched as often as i would have thought. Anyone else seem to have this problem??

Post a link to your team. Who do you have set for set up and closer?

Strange problem...I can't keep him out of games...he's a horse...for the price maybe even better than last year. In fact, I think Stoney once traded me Andruw Jones for him. 8)

There must be a quick fix on the settings for you.

I'm sure he'll be the culprit for a couple of usage penalties on the tour.

How do you have it set up?

Jack, don't make me look like an idiot. It was a limited keeper league and I was way over budget.

It seems like R3's will get used more than R2's everything else being the same.

I was joking, Stoney...I thought it was a good trade...you saved $6mm and, as I recall, had a better option in CF where I had nothing. Just trying to be funny...I'm quite sure no one thinks you're a idiot!

My bad.

I think Stoney might be on to something here.

When I'm playing in a hitting park, I like to grab Carrasco and Scott Downs. They [b:90e836a9de]both[/b:90e836a9de] rack up innings. (Both R3's)

Jack, no offense taken. I knew you were joking and forgot to put a smiley face in the post.

Vis is right on Carrasco & Downs in a hitting park. Then use someone like Street as closer on max setting. Seems to work well.

Oliver works the same way in pitchers parks. Can eat up a lot of innings.

hehehe...

I like to grab Helling and Oliver, when I can, in a pitching park.

since i posted this message. Hal has gotten a little sensitive and put carrasco in 4 of the last 12 games. My closer and setup guy is wagner and my relief settings are normal fr relief and maximize for closer.
