Opinions ... die with Dye? ... UPDATE - Ouch that hurt!

Dye injured for 10 games last night ... still out for 8 more games ... only 21 games left ... Last night to make a pick up ... down by 1 game in division ... up by 1 game in wildcard ... here's my team:

One person available is Magglio Ordonez? ... Not sure ... Dye has been strong for me ... knocked out 51 HR so far ...

U have bad links, go to the teams statistics page and cut and paste from there ...if it is right it should have your team id on the end of the url

You might be able to get by with your backups, but do you want to take the chance and miss the playoffs? It's a shame to dump Dye but I think you may have to in order to make the post season. Once your in the playoffs anything can happen. I've used Ordonez several times and more often than not he's been very good to me. He's got 600 PA's, better D than Dye, and is a clutch hitter. I say dump Dye pick up Ordonez and make the playoffs. With the price difference you should have enough $$$ left over to pick up a cheap player that might help you out aswell.

Personally, I'd grab Mags. Down by 1 game and losing Dye for 10 games with 21 left is banking too much on your reserves to hold the fort. If I were in a pitcher's park, or actually had a two to three game lead, I might think twice about the move, but playing in Rogers, Ordonez should perform well enough. He's been on a good 50% of my teams in 07 and has given me good to great numbers. He's a better fielder than Dye, has good clutch, and really isn't a slouch at the plate.

I went with Mags ... and picked up Brunlett with leftover cash ... Hopefully will not be the new curse ... the curse of the 'Dye' ... Thanks for your input guys ... it was pretty much a 50/50 toss up ... stay tuned ...

BED, the 30 second review says you gave up more HR's than you got. A few of your pitchers aren't great fits for Rogers. Your defense is well below average - only one 2 on - so you're giving up more base hits for the HR's to drive in.

While its only 6 games since the move, it appears Mags has filled in admirably for Dye.
