Has anyone used DeRosa both ways for a season,say at 2nd base?He's been good platooning for me but I'd like to hear from someone who's experienced "the magic"(so I don't have to suffer). :wink:

just my opinion but....
he's mediocre against 70% of the pitchers you'll face, he's subpar defensively at a key position, and he's not cheap. sure i'm being harsh but i like a lot of other players at 2b

Agree wtih Drew. Too expensive to use as a platoon vs left. Not very good vs righties for the 3 on D.

I have him platooning on a theme league team where all SP's are under a mil., so there's room for his salary. He's putting up good numbers, but I wouldn't use him in a regular $80M league for sure.
