Well I did not get Alomar, Buehrle or Green but Green turned into Abreu who I am happy with, and I am pretty pleased with my pitching. Would prefer someone other than Uribe at SS but if one needs a 3 at SS Uribe is the SS to use.

I'm the manager of the BALCO team. I planned to have kind of a gimmick team, with all the players tied into BALCO/Steroids/HGH. On my original draft card I had Bonds, Jason Giambi,Canseco,Palmeiro, McGwire,Gary Matthews Jr., Jason Grimsley, Benito Santiago, Bobby Estallela,Guillermo Mota, Ken Caminiti,Miguel Tejada, even poor Mark Sweeney!
Of course since other managers ended up getting Bonds or Giambi, I decided to abandon the idea. Which is probably just as well because I would have been playing Canseco in RF. (5+1e16)

Well there were no sweeps to open the season, but 4 of the 6 teams on the road did win their series.

Speak of the Devil and he will appear - speak of a sweep and it may occur. ;)

Two occured actually - one by my team and one by the Bomb Sniffers, who are now a nice 5-1 on the road.

Well back to back sweeps is definitely a nice way to finish my first homestand ... time to hit the road and see how well my division rivals play at home. :)

Back to back sweeps at home is quickly followed by being swept twice in a row on the road. :(

Hopefully I can do better tonight against Bomb Sniffers than when they visited me Opening Night.

Out of 8 series, I have been in 5 sweeps so far. ;)
