I have Clemente on a team where he is tearing the cover off the ball, hitting .394 with 21 homers, 8 triples, 11 doubles and 69 RBI's in 72 games. Now for the bad; my team has played 105 games and he has been on my roster the entire season. He has missed 33 games and has six more to sit out on his latest injury.

I also think Rico Petrocelli is overpriced for the performance I have seen from him. I realize there is a shortage of decent SS in the game, particularly offensive minded, but his card has rarely performed near his price tag for me.

Hundley didn't do too well either. If he wasn't a c-1 (-3) I would have dropped him.

Willie Mays and Lee May did pretty well though. :D

In general I like the 1969 game as see some form of consistancy such as very good starters actually pitching close to their stats and relievers actually below 4:00 era.

The depth at the infield poositions is tough to take though quality at the corners are fun to use.

Clemente is a bargain jsut get a good backup.

Jim Roland just seems to nails.

I've not had luck with Lee May but Lee Maye is a great addition.

My vote for stud of 1969 is the great McCovey who on every team I've had him has been exactly what his salary would have you expect.

Bargain stud is Tom Agee. Put this guy in a HR ballpark and he's Willie Mays. .320, 50+Hrs and 130+ rbis.
