To show you just how badly my team performed in the first half of this season, we are 40-20 in our last 60 games and still 11 games under .500 and 11 games behind the division leading Silverhawks.

What great moves did I make? Traded away Nathan, Wang, Sanchez, Freel & Napoli and picked up Francis, Putz, Wuertz, Baldelli and Kendall.
That's it. These 2 separate were all that I did. Don't know about the rest of you, but I just can't see how the deals could account for the better results. :?

Unfortunately I think it's mostly dice rolls KD. Even in the new config I think you've got a 70-75 win team in that div. I'll do new sims when we start season 2....

Tip of the hat to my fellow Central Managers, what a dog fight, gonna go right down to the last night. None of us are out of it for the WC either.

well, I knew my team sucked for this year, I thought I could still steer away from a 100 loss season but nope... no dice, between one run losses, some crapy rolls at the most unfortunate times and a team that really stinks here it is: 100 losses for Yours trully, first time since my very first team, about 70 teams ago.

Well... now for the real boneheaded movements I should go ahead and swap my first pick in the upcoming draft for some of the junk from the powerhouse teams... that should keep the balance from tilting

Good luck to all playoff bound... and if anyone is interested in playing in beautiful Dolpding Stadium, let me know, thinking about a move to a snowy state.

Come on guys give me a break here- qksilver already snaked Thome out of me promising I would still win 100 games; the least you guys could do is to throw me the WC.

Yeah, you both need to quit b*tchin'!

Chuck, Kotchman is doing even better than what I said he would (I think I said .300/.380/.520 as a possible line & he's currently .330/.408/.555) and Drew is having some struggles with the bat, but he's basically a rook & was a top 4 pick, Kotchman + Drew for the next number one pick is sweet. So cry me a river baby! :P

DT, you'd have your 100 wins if you hadn't started the 1st 40 games or so with all R1s in that park! :P

I'll cry a river not for Kotch... but for losing 102 and counting

Always tough to not be able to compete. Well... next year hopefully Kotch and Maggs will be ale to do something for the ailing Offense... and my CFs Granderson-Hunter, and Francoeur, and Carlos lee... oh well... we'll see. Good Luck y'all in the P-offs.

Wow this will be interesting.

I am 1 game back from the WC. I have the tie-breaker for both teams that are 1 game ahead. Both of those teams play each other. If one wins 3 games, I need to win 1. If one wins 2 games I need to win 2. But I also have to watch and make sure I keep ahead of Sandy who is 1 game behind me (who I also have the tie-breaker with). I am playing at Philly Phanatics who I have a great record vs. but have 4 starters injured.

So if I win 2 I am in. If I win 1, Sandy needs to win 2 or less and the fowl/qk needs to be 3-0 either way. If I win 0 I am out.

Bedard vs Young
Wang vs Carpenter
Halladay vs Sanchez

at Camden Yards

Wish me luck.

Nope, 'cause my permutations to get in are even tougher than yours...
