pitcher's park opinions please

ended up with the magical 0 dollars left on the payroll...yount miraculously reappeared on the waiver wire after I traded him for trammell to get all of my backup and platoon infielders in the swap, but decided to stick with trammel since the ballpark homers on yount would do zilch at home, even with two bakers in division. got leever and am hoping I can coax HAL into using him as rh compliment to richert in pen, especially since medich will log zero innings. any thoughts on lineup...dropping blair and his higher obp to get evers and his speed, better d at 3b, and backup at 2b. anybody out there...besides my league mates ofcourse!

first games are gonna file before any advisors see this, or I can make the late changes, but really hesitant to change everyone else neccessary to get yount. choice was to downgrade leever to speer, and then either starting pitching, which Im hesitant to do with such a short bullpen...would mean sacraficing clemens...or....basically it's jackie r. and trammel, or yount and luderus or oquendo. Im gonna stick with the zero dollar balance squad for now, and change if/when things get desperate.

Yount

Postby GARYJEPSON » Tue Dec 06, 2005 4:20 am

Yep a different league. I was the one that triggered Yount being on waivers because I got rid of Banks for Wagner, marion combo after all I had Valentine and Dawson already on my team plus Playing at briggs and the other 3 teams in my division are pitcher parks.so I went for more obp
amd many injuries. What do you all think another reason I,ve never won a title?

Not to worry lte....Banks sucked opening night.

Sat down after dinner and some talking to wife, and there's Banks on the transactions page. :D She's only been a baseball fan for a few years, but even she said "You're picking him up, right?!?"

I'm surprised Yount went untouched. I had it easy, I didn;t have to free salary to make my pickup, but my roster is a few off today than it was the opening series. Baumgartner got a save and he's out looking for work now

I was looking for leadoff help, not sure of Nemo, and was going to try to get Honus in LF and hope for the best on D.

Back to the pitchers park in a slugger division....If you can go .500 on the road and win the close ones at home, you'll be competitive.

Good luck everybody!
