[quote:c49186b7e8="Paul_Long71"]all right, let's figure out the ballparks so we can make our teams. The ballpark may effect some of our choices, so we need to get this done asap.[/quote:c49186b7e8]Here, here.

I say we assign numbers to each of the players on all of our teams. We then run another randomizer which will determine which players we can use for our actual roster.

We should then assign numbers to those 25 selected players to determine which positions they should play.

We will then randomize the starting position players and pitchers to determine our lineups and rotations.

Erasing this post... we can't use Cummings' numbers for ballparks because they only go to 48.

Is everyone happy with their squads? I can't complain with my group, well rounded in hitting, SP & Relief. Didn't get the offensive guy in CF I would have liked, but at least got a guy in Stanley (68 Det) who won't hurt me defensively. All in all, I'm pretty happy with my group. :)

I'll let you know when I see what park I got.

I'm pretty pleased. My starting pitching is weak, but I think I'm solid everywhere else. I have 3 ironmen (Sisler/Waner/BabyDoll) which helps. Ballpark should not affect my decisions too much.

Whose idea was this no trade thing - I got plenty of pitching and 3 players (Reggie, Cobb and Post) who can only play RF.
But I can put together a decent team.
S/B fun.

C Carter
1B Hargrove
2B Hornsby
3B Harrah
SS English (only real option, 2e25 not TOO bad)
LF Cuyler
CF Dawson
RF Valentine
DH Hack Wilson
Fryman, Beggs, Bahnsen & Riddle in the pen

Blyleven, Derringer, Perry & Sanderson

That's who I'm going with, no matter which park I'm in. Can't really use anyone else.

RHP is going to destroy me, though.

Actually, Munich Man and I can trade amongst ourselves, right? ;)

One thing's for sure about my team, I have no catcher or outfielder with any better than a -1 arm.

After just a quick look, I get the feeling that at least 7 of my pitchers will be from the 54 Tribe. The hitting won't be horrible, but I don't see many stand outs either.

Speaking of CFers, I have Doby and looked at his card again and reminded myself why I never liked him too much as a hitter. Depending on ballpark and cap constraints I may wind up going with Ashburn in CF. Overall on offense, I don't see myself with having too many choices to make which can be both a good thing and a bad thing.
