In a deal sure to please United Van Lines, seven players were sent packing this evening. I’m Done is sending Robin Yount, Gorman Thomas, Stan Coveleski, and Ed Roebuck to the Asbury Jukes.4 in exchange for Duke Snider, Cal Ripkin, and Del Rice. Real estate agents in both cities are threatening to boycott all games this year because the deal includes the players swapping houses instead of selling and buying new ones.

Quoted while leaving the I’m Done locker room, Ed Roebuck said “Hey it’s only for one year. We’ll be back with our old teams and in our old houses next season”. “Besides” Roebuck added “I’m the only one who doesn’t get a house. I have to live above Dacelo’s garage. How could Geekor do this to me?!”.

Well maybe it was a good thing that I kept Ojeda, as he has started off quite strongly.

Maris has hit 4 HR in his past 5 games, to continue to pull ahead of Post, who hit 3 in the past 5, and is on pace for 80+ HR at the moment ... however Post is still on pace for an impressive 50+ HR.

Team, as expected, is leading in the HR stat, and we're getting just enough OBP to make it more 2-3 run shots than just a ton of solo slams.
