This might be my best start in a Vet League. Can remember one team of mine that had a better record than what I currently have but that was in a public autodraft league.

I'll ride this wave as long as I can. I hope writing something doesn't put the big hex on my squad.

Playing in Chase Field so of course I have the worst offense in the league and the #1 pitching staff to go with that anemic offense :roll: Who'd of thought that Glaus would be hitting an astounding 160 so far and is actually hitting worse against lefties.I couldnt take Branyon hitting below 200 against righties so he had to go.Francouer is finally hovering around the 190 mark,Tejada is at a hefty 264 and Sizemore is coasting at 258.What a hell of an offense I have assembled :cry: :oops:

Well I did it! The jinx! :x

I said something good about my squad and they have gone 1-5 since then. :(

Well since I bragged on my team we have gone 4-11. Some of it was pure law of averages, as I couldn't keep up a 700 win percentage, but this bad streak had better stop soon.

Meanwhile, indulge me as I bash my good-for-nothing, awful, sorry excuse for a team squad. :wink:

ok, back to winning 2 series in a row. Combine that with Visick's 5 game losing streak (thanks Visick :wink: ) my lead is back to three. :wink:

Great races everywhere, only 2 games separates all 4 teams in the East, and the West is almost that close top to bottom. 8)

Big trade between Beach and I today involving key players. Nice to pull this type deal off. I'll throw out the proverbial "this should help both teams" line. But really, it should. :)

The East took a big hit last night while the Central had three teams that swept. That sure changed the look of the standings some, especially the WC.
