In spite of four regulars (Wilkerson, Boone, Andruw and Delgado) batting under .200, the mighty (46-47 :oops: ) have surged into first place!! Took two of three at the unfriendly confines of Cors against a formitable Silvers squad. Would anyone want to do a Sean Casey for Dave Williams type deal? HOT STOVE - will Manny be traded?

I shook my lineup a couple of nights ago and it seems to have worked since I've gone 5 of 6. Mike Lamb seems to be waking up from his funk, and the rest of the Mulder/Lamb for Glavine/Green trade seems to be working out well. :)

At the risk of jinxing myself, don't look now but there's FINALLY a team with a .500 record in the east, mine. :D Made a move last night to help out my pen, which isn't doing as well as I'd hoped. I hoping the trade in CF vs. LHP pitcing is worth the extra Left handed arm in the pen. Time will tell... :?:

Something's gotta give tonight, Bigmahon's red hot Diamond Kings coming to my park to face the equaly hot Dragons, both teams winners of 8 of their last 10 and coming off sweeps. :o Should be a good series, me trying to hold on to first in the east and the Kings looking to overtake Arryl's suddenly floundering Oracles. :shock:
Early returns on adding an extra arm to my pen seem to be favorable, hopefully we'll keep it rolling...

Arg, we lost Beltre again, 4th injury, 3rd time for 3 games! :(

Unfortunately, it happened at the same time as Kennedy being out for 15 so AT gets to have someone (yet to be determined) filling in at 3b that can't play the position! (yeah, that part is our fault. Gomez is our only backup at 2b and 3b. A gamble we took)

We're hoping for no 3bX's tonight. :D

LH'd hitters tend to hit to the right side of the field correct? So most likely you'll be lucky and not get many. It will be interesting to see if I can win Games I with you missing 3 players or II, vs a LH SP. The Unit continues to be pretty rock solid for me, so I'm quite confident about Game III. ;)
