Identical Leagues... Chat Thread

Postby The Last Druid » Sat Jun 30, 2007 8:35 am

I screwed up my settings on league two after my opening night post 10 pm activites. I forgot to amend my lineups with the new players. Hal then benches Dickey in favor of Lopata until I correct the situation yesterday

My teams have cooled off in tandem. Both started playing .700 ball, and now both are in battles for the division. And the schizophrenic Eddie Plank is driving me nuts...8+ ERA in one league, 7-0 with 3.00 ERA in the other.

The commonalities between my two teams are startling. I hate them both.

Verbatims v1
-------------------------
7-14 Record, Week 1
13-8 Record, Week 2
13-8 Record, Week 3

Verbatims v2
------------------------
6-15 Record, Week 1
13-8 Record, Week 2

Both versions of my identical team stunk it up against their division foes in week one, then went on 13-8 runs each and every week after... eerily similar at the team level:wink:

Mays, Schmidt and Rickey have about the same # of HR's and RBI's in both leagues, even though v2 is a full 21 games behind... so that means they are really carrying v2's offense. However, FRobinson is stinking it up in v2 (.221, 17 RBI's in 45 games) compared to v1 (59 RBI's in 66 games).

Stay tuned :)
