The draft order is weighted so that everyone gets a first rd pick, a 2nd rd pick, etc. If you did it in order then #12 would pick last at the thinnest position then 11th at the next thinnest, etc.

The lotto was to determine 1st rd and thus all subsuquent rds. You have to have an order for rd 1 before rd 2, etc can be determined.

Make sure you still list your 3B picks as proxies for rd 2 so they fire when your pick is up.

Sykes is up in Rd 1
