Round 3, league 7 - Live Draft Time

I sent an e-mail to Bernie to ask him if the league start date can be moved up. But you guys need to make sure that EVERYBODY is on board with this decision.

Probably almost everybody wants to start early (the day we were supposed to) I say majority rules, if 7 guys want it that should be enough.

I've never heard of an override to have a league start earlier than the standard deadline. That is pretty cool if Teepack can pull it off with Bernie.
Don't be getting on Mossy's back, he could have been ready to load his team on thursday but had to wait for the East and Central. He could have had some unvavoidable issues that kept him away from a computer on friday. You just never know.

I just think Mossy waited until after midnight on purpose as at 1201 his team was in.

You are right that sh** happens. What we do know is that the deadline was not met, there was no communication and that the team was posted minutes after the deadline. His actions, whether they are intentional or unintentional, can not be determined but the impact can. The league's Monday start is in jeopardy. It is very frustrating to work towards a goal and be impact by someone elses failure. Mossy's has has done this to many times and in my opinion performed like a rookie.

This is the second league where the action of one or two managers have impacted a league. One bad apple ...... This is not fun. It needs to be corrected or good managers will looking at other alternaties.

It appoears that starting this monday is not going to happen. I can symphathize with those managers who will find this delay inconvient. I earlier had to pull out of a league in round two because of prior commitments. At that time I was unsure about the tournament. However When I returned I joined a league and everything went smoothly. So I decided I would try the draft. I believe that basically our draft went well. I find it hard to accept that a person could participate in a draft and not be capable of filling his draft card out in short order. I have a desire to see this league start as soon as possible. As that will not happen until next Monday and having the draft and waivers set for early this week is handicapping some individuals I would be open to delaying our draft and waiver until mid-week.

Nice job pulling out homefield advantage against me. 89 wins vs. 88 wins says we should have a pretty good series. However, your 51-30 homefield record looks too ominous! You were 13-26 vs. lefties but I only have one leftie to throw at you. The intangibles appear to be going your way!!
We'll be relying on the luck of the roll of the dice! :D
