Recommended Platoons for 2007?

I'm searching though the list of available players looking for platoon options. Is there any guidance towards towards some particularly good platoons available?

i like Kielty/Lofton for DH

I used Kielty/Burnitz for about 3/4 of the season. Don't remember who it was instead of Burnitz for the first 40 games. Their totals:

Kielty 209 ab 38 runs 20 2b's 13 Hr's 53 Rbi .306/.354/.608
Burnitz 250 ab 37 runs 10 2b's 19 Hr's 47 Rbi .236/.272/.520

So combined 32 Hr's 100RBi 75 runs 30 doubles .268/.312/.557

all for a total of 2.34M Kielty is 1.70 and Burnitz is 0.64.

I went and looked, I had Brian Giles for the first 40 and he wasn't producing and was way more expensive so I tried Burnitz and the power was nice and it gave me $ for elsewhere.

Used a Brian Giles/Cody Ross platoon and was very pleased....

cost me around $ 3 mil total......


combined #'s were around .290 avg , 25 hrs, 90 rbi's, 350 + obp....

Lofton is always a good choice. Donavan is not bad, if you luck out with few injuries-- but he seems to get injured, on my teams, more often than Escobar. As for Kielty, I have had him on a few teams, with pretty good success. And for some reason, I seem to draft Ozuna a lot at platoon against LHP-- with mixed results

Kielty and Hinske worked out good on this team.

Kielty with anyone who can damage righties - Gross is my favorite choice.
