Round 3, League 9 - Live Draft Time - Late League!

Proxies had fired in round 2 so we were up to Bean for his second round pick. This is what I meant by noone knowing who was taken. I know I got my first proxy which was Reyes (SS) Mets, I remeber later on in the round someone took Tejada. Don't know who or which players went after me and before Beans pick.

Since Teepack said start drafting on the boards, that's what we're going to do. We will start at pick 13, since it may be apparent JakeTheSnake wasn't aware this is a [b:5578301d7e]NO DH[/b:5578301d7e] league. We are not going to try and remember who picked who in the 2nd round, because as of now the 2nd round is just beginning. When the draft site comes back we can go over and catch up there. And no, there is no problem deleting whatever proxies fired or picks that were made in the 2nd round - since they are now null and void.

Anyone with a problem can take it up with Teepack. There will be no clock until the third round (so everyone can check in once again and understand what's going on) or the website comes back up, whichever comes first. Proxies can be left with other players drafting behind you if necessary.

There should be no clock period if we are drafting on the boards. If the board even stays up. I had set numerous proxies because I knew I would be putting in long hours at work. There is no way I can check the board every couple of hours. As for leaving proxies with other players no offense but how do we know they can be trusted? You might tell someone a proxy and that person might want that player so he contacts someone who picks before you and offers them a trade if they take so and so then trade him to the person who revaled someones proxy.

Wow, I just don't see the problems that have been pointed out as being insurmountable. JakeTheSnake can pick when he comes on line and whoever is on deck can check in when they can and so on. Even if we go fairly slowly, at least we're going!

I think everyone would be okay with your picking whomever is available at this point. We really should do round 2 fresh since no one remembers all the previous picks except for the 1st round. So just pick so we can get on with the draft!!!

The draft site is back up. A number of proxies had fired and it shows Bean up at the moment. I personally think we should move back to the online site. If Jake wants to drop Ortiz or Hafner I am fine with it, but I don't think we should retroactively undo the picks made after his selections. No one was skipped on the site so I say pick things up from there, let Jake submit a drop, once approved he can grab anyone still on the FA wire based on that point in the draft.
