Round 3, League 9 - Live Draft Time - Late League!

the official tournament of SOM Baseball 20xx

DRAFT SITE BACK UP!!! LET'S GO!!!

Postby MonsterT » Fri Jul 20, 2007 12:41 pm

My only proxy pick apparently fired and I have Roy Oswalt. BibBean41 is up next to draft but I think the clock says he has until 10 pm on the 18?! to make his pick. It would seem that when the system went down the clock stopped. Hopefully it won't pose a problem.

draft so far

Postby Assmeriten » Fri Jul 20, 2007 6:15 pm

Round 1: Round 2:

1. Kaviksdad Pujols
2. Pacoboy Halladay
3. Bigbean41 Carpenter M. Cabrera
4. MonsterT Beltran Oswalt
5. Dezman Mauer Ramirez
6. Cchong25 Howard Abreu
7. Bbrool Santana Tejada
8. Raiders91SC Webb Berkman
9. Redlarkins Vizquel Sizemore
10. Woods Jeter Mussina
11. Assmeriten Hudson Reyes
12. Jakethesnake Hafner Ortiz

Just figured I'd post this info in case the site goes down again.
Also looks like clock is fixed: PACOBOY has pick #23
until 2007-07-20 16:06:06 EST

Although technically Pacoboy can be skipped I suggest we don't do that and for that matter don't use the clock until everyone is aware the draft site is back up.

I went on to the site and clicked DROP, but what happens when I do that? Do I just pick another player?

I think drop has to be approved. Not sure by how many. No offense, but I would vote against it. Teapack had said no drops and you made the mistake of not reading the part about no DH. Just my 2 cents of course. Plus, just got in from drinking and getting ready for bed so I can go to work tomorrow.

I have to agree with Assmeriten on one point. The rules for round 3 were posted for all to see; however, that being said I'm not opposed to you dropping Hafner or Ortiz and selecting another player. But I think you should have to do it when YOUR TURN NEXT COMES UP or forfeit the opportunity. Just my 2 cents! :)

How did BBROOL end up with 4 players and Jake end up with 1?

Was there a trade? I do not see any trades on the draft site list...
