Ok guys, I think I've caught up on everything here....

1 thing is crystal clear, we need to move, ASAP and get this back on it's feet.

So first order of business, I must re-iterate it was never my intent to mislead anyone, and I never planned for it to be only 02 cards. I am sorry for not being more clear.

That brings us to the 2nd point, since people already made previous draft assuming this, we can't really go back to the start. and as foggy described, if we say a card must have 4/5 years, that doesn't really work either with picks like Boone.

In the meantime we can discuss cutting the draft shorter (ie stop after 6 or 7 rounds) and finish with a futures draft. Let's hurry this up so fowldawg doesn't have to leave! Someone please contact him so we can move on.

I kept toshiro's and Foggy's first pick as they were valid. But since Bay doesn't have an 02 card, it's up to Foggy to re-pick.

Also, given fowldawg's impending vacation, we could reserve the option of just waiting for him to return.

I don't think anyone in this league is in an extreme rush (we're in for the long haul anyways), so we could simply wait for him to come back (unless he's going to Antarctica for 3 months!)

Research is pretty intensive in this league. It might give us more time to come up with master strategies.

When I signed up for the league I made an assumption too: that we could complete an 11 round draft in a week. I'm in if we are continuing with the draft (which it looks like we are), but as of last night there was talk of restarting the draft, etc. and the draft was standing still. I felt that we were going to start from scratch or be on prolonged hold it would be better for the league to find someone to replace me as opposed to waiting for me to get back. Since we seem on track I'll stick around.

so the new rules are that the player must have a 2002 card and it doesn't matter how many years they've been carded after that?

"we draft using only 2002" means I can take a guy who had only one year of play as long as it was in 2002?

For example, Dotel has no cards for 06 and 07. That is okay?

I am not disputing, I just want to make sure I understand.

BECAUSE (ssshhh, that the same issue as car=brera and Bay....only in reverse).
