FWIW- I've been naming my teams after certain "events" that have taken place with MLB players over the years.

Funny you should pick Urbina because my 2002 team name is:

Runnin Rebel and BED MUST MAKE A STADIUM SELECTION THIS FINAL ROUND (unless I missed that pick in which case I'm sorry)

RR can go ahead and pick in that case anytime

OK, I just PM'd and emailed qksilver about Fowldawg being up for his last pick. Hopefully he's better than Woods at counting the rounds needed for 10 players and a stadium

On another note, I just advanced to the Finals of a no-DH league, to face off against Jerlins (#1 in '07 so far, #3 in '06). I know the ratings aren't as meaningful as they could/should be, but it sure as heck makes things interesting. Nothing better than knocking off the kingpin...he's got 5 championships already, don't want him to get a 6th (at least not against me) 8) :x

While I'm rambling, I might as well make a note on the stadiums/divisions. Really looking forward to the Central matchups. PNC, SAFECO, Yankee and the Cinci triumverate (sp?) should make for some exciting games.

Good luck on taking down the big guy Keyzick. If you were the WC, it should be in the bag ;)

Central should be interesting in that it has a little of everything for stadiums. The overall competition should be interesting. Not too many 'extreme' teams. Every one seems to have a few power hitters and a few speedy onbase guys. Only a few big bomber parks (I like that!).

Close...I won my division, but was the 6th best record overall in the league. The wildcard, which he beat, of course was the 2nd best record, just happened to be from his same division (always seems to work out that way, doesn't it?).
