Looks like I have found my editor. Looking back on the post, now that I am about 30 % conscious - It appears that typos played a big part in the content which sounded pretty funny to me now. My schedule has really interfered with me being able to stay on top of this, this year.

But I have either sent PM's, contacted players in League mail and posted pages for everyone I actually know during the past week. An amazingly high number of vets who have played in the past have gone MIA. Once we have 36 players - We definitely have a Tour. But the day we have 36, i will put out one more aggressive campaign to get 48 players.

I will give it 3-7 days to fill the last 12 once day 3 0r 7 arrives, the player count over 36 have to be aware that they will be cut and the 3 Leagues placement will will be announced. Then the Leagues can be setup and filled at leisure. I will appoint a league moderator to help me move it along faster and allow me more time for REAL LIFE. Once the Tour is up and running and the games have commenced, it usually seems to have a momentum of its own and my work is done.

Robert, isn't your B-Day coming up? I remember both you and my wife being a Leo and her b-day was yesterday.

I'm a Virgo, born September 3rd, but with 4 planets in Leo, i definitely act like one. BTw Happy Birthday to Mrs. Jeep. I think it is Barry Bonds Birthday the 1st week of Leo - maybe the 23rd. Might have been a nice Birthday present to hkmself if he could have tied or passed the record the past few days.

Hopefully, once the record is broken, all the debating will cease and anyone who needs an asterisk next to his name can put their own there, if need be. Once he has 756 (Natural or drug performance enhancers aside) nobody will have ever hit more HRs in MLB history.

It's too bad he played in an era where so many players used it. I don't think it is fair for so much of the weight to fall upon his shoulders when so many players used. I think he was the consistently best hitter before, during and after.

I know this is a very volatile subject. And whether I believe Barry Bonds used performance enhancers or not (And I believe he has - just like at least a third or more of the players the past decade) I have never seen anyone more dedicated to being the best at what he does than Barry Bonds. Whether the media or the public likes him or not, he is still the best player I have ever seen in my lifetime. And before him was Willie Mays...Just a matter of what I have witnessed myself from observing this game for 48 years now - Since I was 6 yrs old.

I never saw DiMaggio, Williams or Ruth play, so I can only go by all the players I have seen.

Sometime this week the HR record will belong to Barry Bonds - Whether we like him or not. And I respect everyone's opinions about it - no matter what they may be. This isn't meant to incite a huge debate about whether Barry used or not, whether his record is tainted or not, or my feelings about either one or whether he was a better player all around than Ruth, or Dimaggio or a better hitter than Williams or Ruth.

He is the best I have ever SEEN play the game in my lifetime and he will have the record very shortly. One just a personal opinion and the other a matter of fact.

Hope nobody is offended by either of these, as none is intended.

Hopefully we'll get this Tour started within a week. Thanks and welcome to everyone who has signed on to play and GL to all.

Just go ahead and post your overall rating next to your name...It is only for purposes of evening out experience over the 3-4 leagues.

I have heard back form at least 7 other players who have declined - So I am inclined to go with 36 players (3 Leagues for the 1st round). One player who gave me a probable liklihood of joining is a very good friend and one of the very vbest players to ever play this game during the 6 yrs I have played. But he was on the road and travelling back to his home when he contacted me.

So I will send a PM and likely hold the last spot for him. (Unless he declines.)

Upon arrival to his home from a long trip. If he decides to play, he will fill the Final spot for a 3 League 36 team Tour.

I have decided to go with 36 team,s as opposed to waiting for another 12 teams.

So go ahead and read the rules, put together your teams for the 1st round and wait until you are assigned to an A, B or C League based upon order of overall ratings.

But I won't open up the Leagues until I get the definite word from PBTR.

If he should decline, I am open to any friend anyone can get to sign up to fill the Final spot. (But until then it is Doug's/PBTR's spot)
