Round 3, League 9 - Live Draft Time - Late League!

Everyone is done except for Chong. What do we do now? Can't fill out a draft card until his draft is done as the odds will be to geat that he will draft people that we might want.

I've sent a message to Teepack to see what should be done about cchong. As soon as I hear back I'll pass it along.

For those of you new to live drafts, this isn't that unusual. Part of the problem in playing these public leagues, even if it is the Tour, is that you run across owners that just don't seem to give a **** and lack the common courtesy to even check in.

Now if cchong has had some type of emergency that's different. But to bail on us like this isn't that uncommon, as some of you vets know.

...Man 'o man this league seems to have been stalled forever in a Sticky.

Now i see apparently a player has gone MIA.

How bad is the damage. I have no problems taking one for the team and filling in even if the team drafted is not to my liking.

What is the situation? Draft done but team not loaded, last pick to be made? How long has the player gone absent? Can I help?

I have taken really bad teams before just to help out leagues that are stalled so no probs with me, just a shame to do all that work to have it gone wayside.

We have completed the draft, so I'm not sure if you can go into the draft site and finish his draft.

If Tee rules that you can replace him, I suggest you be allowed to complete his draft here so we can fill our draft cards and get this league drafted.

Chuck - thanks for stepping up buddy. I believe that we can replace cchong at any time, since he's been gone for over 3 days now. If he has any complaints I'm sure he'll get a sympathetic ear from Teepack (sure).
Since we cannot begin for another week anyway, I say we wait until 12:00 midnight Eastern - if we haven't heard from cchong we bring in Chuck.

I can email you my spreadsheet Chuck and you can pick players from there and then announce them to us on the thread here. No real necessity to have you draft them on the draft site.

Is that ok with everyone?

I am on my way to a little checkup (always fun with the docs, eh?) and then I'll check the site if chong dissapeared like that and drafted like that something tells me he is working with the default password, if that's the case I'll draft on site and if not I'll do through spreadsheets and post the last picks here when and if I get a green light.

I don't know how long the docs will have me but I'll check in here with an update as soon as I can.

This is the non-dh LD event, right?

I think we should give CChong until Monday, August 6 to get back into the league. I'm just as inpatient as any one; however, we don't know CChong's circumstances. Wouldn't we feel awful if we found out the guy had an emergency surgery or something! We're not going to fill today, so let's take the weekend off and get back to business on Monday. Just my 2 cents.

Yup. 80 mil cap. No DH. Oh and I leave tomorrow for vegas so won't be able to complete my draft card until next week. I get back late Friday night.

You still can access the site and make picks. I had to do that in the Barnstomers when my proxy didn't fire in the last round.

Also everyone, before you put a player on your draft card for the AD part, go to the draft site, click on create proxy then type in the players name that you want to put on your draft card. If his name appears you csn put hiom on your draft card, if it doesn't means he was taken so don't put him on your draft card.
