2007 Bonds or 2007 Giambi?

If you are in Cell and had $6M to spend, which of the HGH boys would you take? My gut says go with Barry and reinvest the $1M saved. Anyone have different take on this?

Here's my Cell team that won it all: http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/2007/team/team_other.html?user_id=3583

I'm not high on RHRP J. Cappellan and CF C. Duffy. Between Bonds & Giambi, I prefer Giambi because I can't stomach frequent injuries. Get a RP with fewer HRs allowed and a CF with either higher OB% and or power with decent D. Duffy's speed & D are decent, but he'll do next to nothing offensively at the Cell. Piroritize as follows with your excess cash: 1. better all-around CF; 2. LH power hitting DH with decent OB%; 3. RHRP with low BPHRs. Good luck!

After looking at the numbers I like Giambi better in cell I think than bonds less injury risk I think, I had Ross and griff backing up bonds if he got hurt and he did for my coors team. U could back him up with lane for under 1 mil

Thank you everyone. I don't really know what to do about the CF issue, but I feel better with the Giambi decision now. The only CFs left are 3's or guys with pretty high INJ risks.

I like my staff going into the season...now to sucessfully push IPs to my big dogs. I find this the hardest thing to figure out. If anyone has some RP setting recommendations for my team...I'm all ears.

I would take Bonds and so would most others based on the amount of times I see Giambi available(almost always) vs Bonds(almost never. You can easily back up Bonds in US Cell with McPherson, Lane, Ross, et al for less than $1.00 and they can also capably back up other positions.

I really bounced back and forth on this one then finally pulled the trigger on the Bonds/Laroche combo over the Giambi/Norton combo...now to get 450 ABs out of Barry. :)

Giambi with a bullet. When you weigh the two you are looking at OBP Correct. Take the 3 game injury and run.
