For those of you that are already purchasing and putting your teams together, the 10 "core" players will need to go in spots #1-10 on your ranking sheet. Otherwise, if we put them in the last 10 spots the following scenario could plan out.

2 guys put Bonds down, the one that doesn't get him is given Manny Ramirez as a replacement. Well, someone drafted Manny so that would be bad. This can't happen if we put our drafted guys in the #1-10 spot.

Hailedog just informed me that my scenario would not happen as the autodraft gives a back-up that is NOT listed on anybody else's card. Does anybody know for sure that is the case. If so, then we put our picks in spots 16-25 as I previously thought (that way no one can screw around and manipulate the draft).

Please let us know.....Does Hal/autodraft give you the next best suitably comparable player regardless of if he's on someone's card at a lower spot or does it only give players that no one has listed anywhere on their card.

I'm pretty sure that if someone has a particular player listed anywhere on their draft card, then no one else gets that player (as long as no one else has listed the player ranked ahead of the first manager's ranking). Thus ranking our 10 core players from 16-25 should work very well.

You are correct.

As long as the players are listed on only one card.. I.E. are 10.. they will not replace a double draft pick.

List 16-25 is the way to go.

Course... any of you are welcome to list my players 1 through 10..... you will just need to drop them come waiver time. :wink:

just reading this, guess i'm a little behind! No unique stadiums means YES, any stadium you want to play in - there CAN be three, four or five ENRONS! :lol: - AND -- ya'all are correct on the draft list - 16-25 for your keepers, as HAL will not select any player listed by another for a replacement!!!
