Autodraft question for the vets

I am in a theme-league which had a draft. Should we put our drafted players in spots 1-10 or 16-25.

My worry is that if we put them in 16-25 and 2 guys go for an undrafted player, will HAL/autodraft then give the next best player (even if he's on someones card later.) or the next best player that no one has listed later on in their cards.

For example Bonds wasn't on-line drafted in our league, but Manny was. So now we fill out our cards and 2 guys go for Bonds, will Hal/autodraft give the loser of this conflict Manny as a consolation even though he is listed in the 16 spot for the guy that picked him in our on-line draft?

Please help if you know the answer for sure.

Typically when you have a partial live draft you list the drafted players at the bottom on your draft card.

In your example the person who drafted Bonds will not get Manny as a consolation. They will get the next available person at this position (LF) who was not listed on anyone draft card.

If you chose Manny 25th and no one else chose him and Bonds is taken Manny would still be yours . :wink:

Stoney is correct, it will give you the next highest person who is NOT on anyone elses draft card.

so you pretty much always put the live drafted guys at the bottom.

I have seen HAL(or a manager screw up) Just release anyone who someone else has rights to after the draft Works fine!!!!!!

Or you can trade a player to his rightful owner if he has one of your players .

Actually only way to maintain 100% integrety is putting them at the end Have no reason not to trust anyone in almost all of the leagues I play in but every now and again Well you probably get my drift

I hear ya Buster. I guess we'll be putting them at the bottom in our league.
