I'm in the 1st. AL/NL Theme because of a free credit. 1969 just isn't doing anything for me... :cry:

I'm going to put a separate ad in the 1969 Thread attracting 6 new managers with a deadline of Thursday early afternoon. If not filled I will be pulling out unless there is some known reason to believe we will fill shortly.

I think we need to be patient here. This time of year, most folks have other things on their mind than strat-o-matic. I'm willing to wait another week or two to fill this league. IMHO, when we were close (only 2 teams left to fill), we got derailed b/c of the polls and discussion about the leagues parameters, issues which should have probably been decided [u:fe1d74dad0]before[/u:fe1d74dad0] the league started filling up.

Anyway, what's done is done. Let's hang in there and wait for 5 more suckers, um, I mean victims, um, no, I mean managers (yeah, that's it!). :lol:

I'm back to check in on the league. I've read the comments and we only got 1 manager since the ad went up. I was the one that put the deadline which did include the wording enabling the league marketing to continue if there were reasons to do so.

In fact the deadline was placed by myself because I wasn't willing to continue monitoring the Board once I saw managers pulling out and no new managers coming in.

Therefore, anyone of you may change the parameters as they wish as I'm pulling out but you may assume that I would like to participate in the Theme just not be as involved in the recruitment process.
