Surprised and Disappointed that the AO letter combo actually was hurt significantly by having to eliminate numerous quality players due to the $80M cap. If it was the philosophy to cause these concerns, fine, but it hurts to eliminate $9M pitchers and $6M OF's.

Yep, the $80m cap really makes it a challenge. Other Alphabet theme leagues that I have played in use a $100m cap. With $80m, the weaker letter groups are helped when they go up against the deep letter pools like M. Playing field is definitely leveled at this cap.

Here is the link to my AO team currenly playing in the G-Man Challenge League. Started very badly, losing 21 of the first 26 games. They have fought back and are now 4 games back at 47 - 40. It's been fun.

Yes, $80M is the way to go on the the letter leagues. The DH helps to even out some inequities. Even with the DH, no one can really load up on $10M pitchers, so it works out good .... except of course the C's !! :) 8)
