pretty amazing say hey went 8th, he was on my list of six or so for #1, along with mantle, ruth, gehrig and hornsby, so ofcourse I took ol pete...hopefully alot of 4,5,6 rolls on the indicator die when alexander's facing all this muscle..
and say hey, unesid has found us, and were moving, and coffee's a frequent boarder, so we should be in the 2nd round shortly.

:D I'm having FUN.

I'm going to turn the clock on after Coffee's pick. If you know that a particular window will be problematic please post here. We have a real good group of guys here who don't mind waiting for the intrusions of the real world to pass, but who really hate hitting the F5 button over and over and over for nothing.

[quote:d247e6e987="wjanssen"].....I think a 200M live draft should be savored like a fine wine or single malt scotch, not chugged down like a light beer or fruity drink[/quote:d247e6e987]

Cheers!

AAAAGGGHHHH !!! That 2nd pick was hard because I know everyone I considered will be gone before I pick again. Could'nt pass up the power and RBI's.

Big Ric... I understand the struggle- I picked right after you so was kind of in the same circumstance- along way around to our next pick, last chance at the premium hitter group...

Foxx and Ruth are a lethal combo of onbase and power, you can go a lot of ways with that core pair of players. They'll obviously hit in any ballpark and both hit against both sides- can't really go wrong, IMO.

I went with Ted Williams in pick 2, more with my Red Sox heart and desire to have Willie and Teddy in the same lineup. With Mays better vs. lefties, I really wanted to jack up against righties - Brett was tempting but that injury risk scared me off... I'll probably get stuck with a cheap (5M) 3B and using my #2 pick on what could be my DH... may well cause some regret later, but just playing Mays/Williams all season will be fun enough :)

Cofeeholic got "instant middle infield" with Wagner and Collins on thw swing picks, gotta love that. Dan (Idanred) went with a core of SP's (Adams and Camnitz) so far... with his staff stabilized, he'll likely have to go for the bats next time around. Rob94509 is up next- we'll see who he picks to go with Mr. Yount.

Fun so far...

I've never played in a 200 mil ATG III before and I'm already seeing a change in drafting strategy. I've seen 2 or 3 players picked in the first 19 picks that have been found in the waiver draft in some of my leagues. Brett is a perfect example, in a 80 or 100 million league his risk of injury is a huge factor in the draft process.

There's about 4 guys I almost picked on my last pick still available maybe there's hope!! :?:

Good luck everybody

I heard a distinctly devlish series of giggles coming from northern New Jersey just about the same time Nev realized he could draft Duke Snider in round 2! Coincidence??? Yikes :(
