What is the start and end time for the daily 2 hour timed picks? I think its 8 to 8 eastern time. Please advise.

I'm on the road tomorrow as of 5 am cst and will not have internet access until 3 pm mst. I will set proxies late tonight if the 3rd round doesnt make it to me today.

I did not see mention of the clock being off during the week, so I went ahead and chose Dazzy Vance when GKHD11A's time ran out.

Please advise if I did this out of turn, and I will turn him back in :?:

Fair enough I see no time off rule on the clock after work hours I had Dazzy vance set as a proxy ( I have a 2 hour commute home) but somehow screwed it up with the wrong round. Pfeister will be ok with me.

Thanks, gkhdka.

Can someone clarify, however, if the clock is off at night, or not.

I'm not so sure that it's been clarified, but hopefully it's generally acknowledged that that's the reasonable thing to do. No one wants to be on the clock at 0300 hours...

Which, by the way, brings up the obligatory note re: time zones. I'm on the west coast, so just for future reference, just because it's 10am in the East, please don't assume that it's time to skip me, and vice versa for you late timers when it's reaching the end of the day.

clock is on 10 am to midnight EST. That's hard wired into the somdraft code. The only flexibility surrounds the window per pick (which is 2 hours in our league).

Idanred has now drafted 4 SP's with his first four picks.

I've suspected in autodrafts that some managers go heavy on SP's with the early picks, and Dan's strategy will be fire-tested in this league of heavy hitters selected so far. Wondering if anyone else has experience with this approach?

I once drafted Pete, Jack Pfeister Babe Adams and Ed Ruelbach with my first 4 picks with Barney Schultz as my fifth pick. The team was never able to muster enough offense to win consistently but that was in ATGII where the player pool was not as deep. With a deeper player pool it may be a better strategy.
