If we ever get out of the first round the 3 hour clock will be on, so we're drafting ready or not next week. For Wetz' sake hopefully we can improve on the one pick per day pace we're on.

When do we look for a replacement? Soon we will have been 'rolling' for 2 full days and ARay hasn't checked in. He's almost certainly cost us at least a week (don't see how we can be finished by Tuesday now, weekends are always hard).

I'll assume he's got a great reason, that life has gotten in the way. But he can still join another league instead of killing this one.

On the other hand, if we're already going to lose a week, what difference does waiting for him make?

The last two drafts I've done with this software have taken no more than three days but that was with everyone actually committed to being in the league they joined.

Your thoughts, please. Group consensus?

Also a reminder: FJZahn won't be able to pick until tonight. So even if ARay happens to show up, we won't finish the first round until tonight. And in most live drafts, the clock is off over the weekend.

with vacations and MIA's and all..... I took over an hour yesterday to set this draft up and exclude all the AL players...

I'm ready to bail to a different league..... i really don't have the patience to do a three week draft.

I feel the same way, about bailing. That's why I suggested looking for a replacement. This draft should have been finished long before I was leaving town. Now I'm not sure if I can join another one before I leave or if there will be one left when I get back.

I woulda thought joining the first available league meant we'd all be motivated to check in/make picks. But life happens.

In any case, I vote we keep the clock going over the weekend, (except overnight), and try to get the draft completed by Tuesday. We can still get this done.
