Our historical single season sets

Postby genegrid » Wed Dec 14, 2005 10:37 am

I have changed the clock to 4 hrs so we can finish this week. We do however need to try and get the 1st rd picks to state their positions as soon as possible so people can get their proxies in.

Rd 7 has been designated as LF and Cheese will be taking YAZ.

Ok, just to reveal.

League setup will be by stadium/geography.

I don't like to reveal, instead, want people to draft just for their team.

If Pope or anyone else that doesn't pick on time misses several rounds and then drops out we would be left with an empty team that no one else would want and then we would all be stuck. I think it is in everyone's best interest to let Pope make his picks and participate or wait for a replacement owner to take over the team.

We posted that we would go to a 4 hour clock on Monday. I will wait another day but if anyone has problems the rest of the week just let me know and I can take proxies.

IMO and in the interest of fairness the clock should be left off if we've gone this far without it....just try and find a replacement for Pope if he's not able to participate, everyone else picks in a (somewhat) timely manner. This is not to trash Pope but if he doesn't have the time to draft then he should consider the other eleven owners and drop out.... or else let's live with it and we finish when we finish ! :)

Personally I don't get an extreme urgency to finish a draft. If the league starts one week or another has never bothered me.

I can wait, but I would like to know if Pope can finish, remembering he mentioned having personal problems over the weekend.

OK

RD6 is LF
RD 7 is 2B

Please place your proxies

Once Big Mahon chooses a position for rd 8 I will immediately list the 9th rd position and we should be rolling, rolling, rolling!

Rolling rolling rolling, keep them doggies rolling Rawhide
Head 'em up, move 'em out Rawhide
