We will start with the team which adds up to the total of the PICk 3 lottey result from the states of NEW YORK and NEW JERSEY...Example is if the lottery result for NEW YORK is 877 and NEW JERSEY is 254 then the total is 33... which is the NEW YORK YANKEES '27. Now the bonus is everyone gets the ability to skip up to 3 numbers in total throughout the draft so it can be all at once or one at a time...So given the example above, the manager ranked No 1 can skip team no. 33 and take no. 34 the NEW YORK YANKEES '39 (considered one skip), or no. 35 the NEW YORK YANKEES '56 (considered two skips) or no.36 the OAKLAND ATHLETICS '73 (considered 3 skips).....Every manager gets 3 skips in TOTAL for the entire draft.... Each manager will select 4 teams to draft their team. They must select a stadium for one of their 4 teams.......

No trades at any time, the 3 teams not selected are off limits for the entire season, and you can deal only with your teams throughout the season for changes...We will rank each manager by Pick 3 lottery results. If your state doesn't have a lottery on the given evening of selection, then I will use the last Pick 3 lottery result from your selected state. Divisions will be East (1,4,7,10) Central (2, 5, 8 11) and West (3,6,9,12)......

This theme was done before and I don't remember who's idea it was but the league was a lot of fun....Remember...you only get 3 skips....Please sign up and list a lottery state for rank....Thanks...Bobby

Of course if I'm lucky enough to win then the runner up will get the prize. No one is obligated to claim the prize...Just let me know and I will award to the next in line....best record from the 2 semis....Bobby

Good point danielz... and I incorporated MR BBW post below your post to change the rule....I think this change allows any one of the 51 teams to be the starting point.....Bobby

I just got a free credit and this sounds like fun. If you double the number then you eliminate all the odd numbers as possible starting points. Could use 2 seperate lottery numbers(New York and Kentucky). On the other hand not sure how much it matters if the odds ar "the odd men out" for the starting point.

Another good point MrBBW...Let's use the two state total...which can cover all 51 teams ....If we get a collective number over 51 then we start over again...i.e....53 is team no.2... Let's use NJ and NY as the 2 lottery picks that we will add......

Hey bobby, if I join, can I forego the prize and put in an order for the upcoming DVD-- "The Year the goat Curse Died: the story of the 2006 Cubbies march to the World Series Championship." ?
