Eric Reed and AFD's team name reminds me of this story. It was years ago at the ACC Basketball Tourney. You know the rivalry between UNC & Duke. In between games the UNC Fans started yelling "J.R. Reid, J.R. Reid". This was when he was a prized recruit, a year away from being a freshman player. To that the Duke fans started yelling, "J.R. [i:b4704c01b1]can't [/i:b4704c01b1]read, J.R. [i:b4704c01b1]can't[/i:b4704c01b1] read!"

I friend of mine went to Austin Peay State Univ. During home games, in both football and basketball, their crowds use to chant "Let's Go Peay".

Here in S.C. there's a small college named Benedict College. Their chant is "Break an arm, break a leg, Ben(d)edict, Ben(d)edict!" LOL
