Event 5, AL only - league 7

I am holding off on my pick hoping that DOC will make his first round pick before proceeding. What is the procedure on this ??? If we get to far in the draft then we may not be able to get a replacement if needed.. I have not heard from doc but I did hear from another player, who was in another league with him, informing me that he had let doc know that he needed to address his drafting issues in this league

If it is okay, I will hold off on my pick until 6:00 PM est to see if doc00017 shows to make his pick.. I have my proxies ready but would like to get doc caught up before preceding......If this is not okay let me know...

This is what I know:

1. This was clearly posted as an AL only draft.
2. we have had a pick in the first round that could not follow the basic rules.
3. Since there is no clock in 1st round the 1 st round has now taken 3 days!
4. We went ahaead and started picking in the 2nd round before this 1 st round was completed.
5. we will either need need to scrap all 2nd round picks and wait for Doc to correct his erroneous pick or just blow on by Doc(1st round offender who has not checked in in 3 days!) and institute the clock so that this draft will one day be complete.

By waiting till 6:00 PM this will give doc 24 hrs. to clear up his draft mistakes... He should have picked twice yesterday when he dropped Pujols but unfortunately he not do so creating the mess we now currently have. By waiting 24 hrs. we have given him plenty of time to correct his mistake.

I agree this is frustrating. Lets get through it as best we can. How about going to a 2 hr clock? I have 15 proxies set but lets keep it moving.

OK...I assume since 6:00 has passed and the" Dye " has been casted with the selection of Jermaine Dye(CWS) that Doc has lost his 1st round pick due to neglegence.....and I will make my pick....moving on.
