Your tream is OK, platoons are not my favorite idea in YAnkee 56, but I recall there was not much available.
Lown and Henry would not be my choices in Yankee 56. $100M leagues have lots of sluggers, wait it out at this point, it is hard to draw any conclusions from 15 games.

If this were football....yes, I'd panic. But since it's baseball & you haven't even completed 10% of your season....this isn't considered anything....just 15 games...nothing more.
I would spend that 3m you have left though. Excess cash can't possibly help you win.
