What, you were expecting a 3 or 4?

I noticed Renteria is now a 3 at SS. Combined with a less than stellar year at the plate I doubt he will be used much.

Roberts a 1 at 2B, he'll be popular.

As will Rowand, a 1 in CF.

Yeah, I am bummed as I thought Utley would improve to a 2 this year, but he got no respect. Roberts will be a high pick in every draft, 2B is thin for 2 range guys with decent offense.....

Actually I am PO'd at SOM abt this - Utley was better than Roberts at both range factor & zone rating per ESPN's stats, just made more errors, but still gets the 3 range....Iguchi got a 2 from SOM as a rookie with stats much worse than Chase....gotta love those subjective range rulings.....

Does anyone know where the Doug Glanville letter link is? I would be interested in reading what he has to say about Abreu.

Brady Clark at 4 is pretty brutal. He had a great year. Putting him in Bernie Williams territory is disrespectful.

True, but they ususally do not have a track record of excellence at the seldom played position. I think you either give him a rating commensurate with his ability or no rating at all. I would have no complaint either way.
