From the looks of the esteemed company, me thinks I'm in for a sound whoopin'! :shock:

By the way, I'm trying out a little "theme" with this team. If I get about 8 or 9 certain players I've drafted, I should be able to fulfill the theme I'm aiming for. Anyone care to hazard a guess? :wink:

cwostevec, How do you think your team turned out? I am not sure what your message means since we all autodrafted our teams.

I let the computer draft my squad. Didn't even look. It was 5 minutes til midnite on the east coast. Figured I'd take the last spot and draft Saturday night. Somehow I was 11th in the waiver draft. Made a trade for B Robinson and EL TIANTE, that upset some people. I gave up Santo. Cleared some cash and got better. I was hoping to get Belanger in waivers, but he went right before my pick. I'm stuck with Stick Michael at SS and had to move some salary to get Green at 2B. I'd be happy with a .500 squad and 20 wins for EL TIANTE.

I got lucky and won a championship with my one and only 69 squad. Christmas came early. I know I'll never win again.

Thanks everyone for joining!! There are already about 100 posts in the league and we're a week away from the league actually starting. I looked at Bios and found that we inadvertantly invited too much strato talent!! 8)
Anyway, looks like there will be a lot of runs scored! Most of the $10M+ pitchers are still out there on the FA list looking for a job. Too bad!! It's a hitters league (DH twist).
