I thought we were talking pre-waivers. My bad. Different situation.

Gload is on this list. One of m favorites in Shea, Turner, or any hitter park. Great clutch and bphr. Will hit for OBP. Freel is also there. The only problem is it costs so much now. 20% is a huge price to pay for adds from the FA wire. Trade would be the best.

Wait for qk to chime in. I would rather see Gload on your team, somehow-someway. Jeter is stinking up the joint as usual. So is Chipper.

I would go with B Giles or Klesko or both. It might be worth it to ditch Texeira to get them. Also, if there is a cheap 2-range SS like Clayton available, I'd ditch Jeter as well. He is hitting LH well but vs RH he's killing you.

Klesko runs for crap. Good OBP but no speed. That knocks him out of leadoff. Also, he hits lhp better than rhp. He has good clutch tho. I would slot him for 5-7 in the order.

I don't worry abt speed so much in the leadoff spot as long as they won't clog up the basepaths, unless I am going for a real small ball team. At 13 run rating, Klesko will score plenty, so either leadoff or 6th or 7th like Jay says. Giles better suited for 2 spot since he has poor clutch & some HR power vs RH. So I'd probably do vs RH like this:
