Replay Keeper Chat

Just got the message and I am going to pass here. I had fun last league but I'm overloaded and trying really hard to limit my teams. I have a hard time saying no to so many nice people. But I need to slow down and concentrate on my recovery from my recent surgery.... Thanks for the offer and I'm always around for future leagues when the timing is better. Good luck and most of all have a happy holiday season....Bobby :D :D

OK... as of right now, I am going to solicit for two new managers on the ATGII forum.

While I like the idea of doing a long-term multi-season keeper league, I am guessing the interest for that here is low...

How's this for announcing rules:
1. 80 mil., no-DH, waivers
2. 3-1-3 keeper/steal/draft format.
3. After the keeper/steal, 6-round live draft in the ILC forum (like last season).
4. Can change ballparks, but must be announced with first 3 keepers.
5. Following previously suggested deadlines.

Any problems with this... leave a note here or PM me.

EAST
Schmoes - yes
Treasures - no
Primaries - yes
Hornets - yes

CENTRAL
Saloon - no
Orz - yes
Marauditors - yes
Suns - yes

WEST
Boss - yes
Germaniacs - yes
Chef - yes? (he asked me if he could change parks, I said yes, so I assume he's in)
Mama - yes

Hi Bill..
As with other leagues that I said no...I've had several decent days in a row following this shoulder surgery and would like to continue with my Russian Teasures... I've posted on the main board too. Sorry for the confusion...My head's a little mixed up these days...Bobby

As with any league you are in, we are a stronger league if you do stay aboard. I wish you the best on your recovery, but that does not mean Slugging Boss III will take it easy on ya! :)

OK... trying to speed things up here...

Since everyone is in, let's get the keepers announced.

I put a deadline of Dec. 23, but it is arbitrary and if we need more time, OK, but let's try to reach it.

Each owner needs to announce their three protected players AND home ballpark.

Once that is done, we will have a live one-round draft of stealing. Each owner (from worst to first) gets to select an unprotected player from another team. Each team can only be "stolen" from once. Thus, each team will have had one player stolen and four players on their roster after that.

Then each team can announce up to three more players kept, before we commence a six-round live draft. Then we will input our teams into the HAL system for the autodraft to fill out our rosters.

The draft order, for both the steal round and the six-round live draft, is as follows:
1. Conway Suns (worst record)
2. Whoa Mama
3. Diamond Chefs (tiebreaker with Hornets)
4. NY Hornets
5. NH Primaries
6. Newark Marauditors
7. Russian Treasures
8. Garfied Orz'z
9. Mabel's Saloon (Central winner)
10. Slugging Boss (West winner)
11. Munich Germaniacs (finalist)
12. Holy Schmoes (defending champs)
