Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, and Happy Festivus!
Let’s start off 2006 with a Homerun Derby. A league with big hitting and big talk.
Here are the rules:
[b:46716e14d4]Homerun Derby 2006[/b:46716e14d4]
[list=1:46716e14d4][*:46716e14d4]$100m, DH, autodraft, waivers
[*:46716e14d4]Everyone must use one of these home stadiums: Baker Bowl, Fenway Park '67, Huntington Ave, Polo Grounds (either year), or Yankee Stadium '27.
[*:46716e14d4]From Game 1 to Game 99, you may have [u:46716e14d4]no pitchers[/u:46716e14d4] over $3m on your team.
[*:46716e14d4]Beginning at noon (Eastern) on the morning after Game 99, you may have [u:46716e14d4]no more than one pitcher[/u:46716e14d4] over $3m on your team at any time.[/list:o:46716e14d4]
Rule 4 should give the league a little mid-season spark. [i:46716e14d4]Will someone drop Babe Ruth to pick up Pete Alexander? Will the mid-season pick-up inspire a bunch of trades? What will be the best mid-season strategy?[/i:46716e14d4]
